The Magic of Herbs

Andrea was recommended to me just over 5 years ago following major surgery and some gruelling chemotherapy for pancreactic cancer.

She has supported me since then with her vast knowledge and wisdom, prescribing her wonderful herbs and tailoring them to my changing needs as the years have gone by.

I have made the sort of progress I never dreamed possible and this year has been amazing. Following a DNA test, my energy levels have been restored, I am feeling ‘back to normal’ and getting on with my life.

Looking to get my energy back...

I approached Andrea suffering from Adrenal Fatigue, which was persistent and was impacting significantly on my activities so I did what was necessary, but had no energy to enjoy other activities.

Armed with my food diary and a recent blood test, my initial consultation was impressive – discussing all concerns with a very approachable Andrea, who explained clearly what she felt were pertinent issues, came up with a treatment protocol of supplements, herbs, diet and self-help, with a couple of blood tests to eliminate other possibilities, explaining each element and how they work, having regard to affordability and practicality.

I did not expect quick results, but I was delighted that my energy levels improved significantly in a far shorter time than I feared. Follow up consultations were very affirming and positive. I feel confidence in Andrea and do feel she puts her clients in the centre of her practice.

Back to normal

Following almost 20 years of surgery, antibiotics and steroids for sinusitis, I became extremely run down, caught Pneumonia and almost died. I spent 10 days in hospital. Thank goodness for the NHS and their life saving care. Yet it was Andrea and her herbs (the girls!) that allowed me to live my life again.

It has now been over a year since my first visit to her calm and quiet surgery. I always look forward to going. Since the first visit, my health and energy improved and continues to do so. My immune system has strengthened and I feel alive. I knew Herbalism was powerful yet gentle at the same time.

Recovery from low immunity

After I retired I was exhausted and after pneumonia and another chest infection I had shingles. I had got over the worst of the virus but the symptoms never seemed to leave me completely and after the fourth recurrence I was desperate for some relief and a return of at least some of my lost energy. I had never experienced Medical Herbalism before but I immediately found Andrea to be understanding and knowledgeable. After several months taking the herbal medicines I am relieved to have at last shaken off the beastly Shingles and my immune system feels much stronger. My energy has also returned.

Splitting skin on my fingers
Location: West Sussex. Perimenopause

Staying off Anti-Depressants

Sleeping after 4 very long years!

PMDD and Periods
