As restrictions begin to ease and more business are reopening I have been issued with some guidelines from our Herbal Medicine Regulatory Organisations.
From 13th July we have been advised that we may see patients face to face and undertake physical examinations provided we have all the appropriate mitigations in place
We must undertake a risk assessment and create a Covid Secure plan. I must ensure that appropriate PPE is worn by myself and my patient and ensure the Consultation is kept as short as possible.
Any Patients attending an ‘in person’ consultation must complete a consent form.
I am working on my Covid-Secure policy and hope to begin to slowly see some patients in person from August. However, as safety of my patients is my priority, I am keeping these appointments limited to those who are unable to work with me remotely.
Therefore the majority of my Consultations will remain via Skype or Zoom until further notice
I continue to either post prescriptions or give socially distanced doorstep collections only.
