New Series of Workshops

I will be running various workshops throughout the year, these are the first series for 2014

If you would like to reserve a place please request a booking form.
A £10 deposit is required  upon booking and the balance is payable on the day.

An Introduction to Herbal Medicine: 

Learn the basics of Herbal Medicine preparations. This is a good workshop for those who are just starting out learning about herbs.

  • Practical sessions where you will make: an infusion, a decoction, a salve, a gel, an infused oil.
  • Theory session~ therapeutics: simple herbs to use at home for common ailments.

Cost: £50.00 per person to include preparations to take home.

 

Understanding Herbs for the Nervous System

 A one day workshop tasting and working with herbs to begin to understand their effects and assistance in restoring health to the Nervous System.

Looking at the physiology of the Nervous System and the Neuroendocrine system and common conditions such as

Anxiety
Depression
Insomnia

 We shall:

  • Taste some tinctures in a reflective/ meditative state
  • Mix your own nervous system support tincture blend
  • Make a sleep balm
  • Make a pulse point roller ball massager to use in acute situations or for daily support.

 

Cost: £50 per person including preparations to take home.

    I would like to request a booking form for the introduction to herbal medicine course. I have been working as a gardener for the past 10 years & I am currently doing an intensive course in Anatomy & Physiology with a view to start studying Herbal Medicine…very slowly 🙂 I came across your website when I was searching for some lemonbalm tincture guidance as I have recently been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. Everything seems to make sense and tie in perfectly.  You know I have only felt the anxious feelings a couple of days since starting the herbs and that was just before my period a week ago – and really mild This is the best month I have had for at least 6months – so something must be working! Hi Andrea Just wanted to let you know how much better I’m feeling! The last few days I’ve felt actual hunger, something I haven’t felt for months. Sleeping after 4 very long years!Goring
Following almost 20 years of surgery, antibiotics and steroids for sinusitis, I became extremely run down, caught Pneumonia and almost died. I spent 10 days in hospital.
